Extrususion Clamp / Bump Stop
thingiverse
I made this little device to quickly adjust my wife's stop on our laser cutter when she has repetitive processes going on. A simple cam-style shaft is used to pull t-slot inserts and body together, creating enough clamping/friction to hold position even when bumped aggressively. Used on Misumi Series 6 Extrusion (Base 30/slots are 30mm apart). For help in checking your fitment, the main parameters are below: Slot Separation = 30mm; Slot Anchor width = 16mm. Use some grease on all plastic to plastic contact points - you can see this in my photos. You will need two anchors and one of each other part. Assembly is self-explanatory. Screws are M3 sized. The handle can be glued to the cam, as screws are still accessible, allowing you to wiggle the thing apart if needed; however, I don't do so with mine - a press fit works just fine.
