Extrususion Clamp / Bump Stop

Extrususion Clamp / Bump Stop

Made this little device to create a quickly adjustable stop for my wife when she has repetitive processes on our laser cutter. Simple Cam style shaft used to pull t-slot inserts and body together creating enough clamping / friction to hold position even when bumped fairly aggressively. Used on Misumi Series 6 Extrusion (Base 30 / slots are 30mm apart). For help in checking your fitment the main parameters are below. Slot Separation = 30mm Slot Anchor width = 16mm Use some grease on all plastic to plastic contact points, can be seen in my photos. You will need 2 Anchors and 1 of each other part, assembly is self explanatory. Screws are M3 sized. Handle can be glued to CAM as screws are still accessible and still allows you to wiggle the thing apart if for some reason you need to do so; this is not necessary as I do not do so with mine, a press fit works just fine. Print Settings Printer: Self Built (Cartesian) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .4 Infill: 30 Filament: YOYI PETG Trans. Green Notes: Use some grease on all platic to plastic contact points, can be seen in my photos. You will need 2 Anchors and 1 of each other part, assembly is self explanitory. Screws are M3 sized.
