Extrusion Swatch Storage System

Filament swatch and organization system designed to make use of a 2020 aluminum extrusion piece, such as scrap or leftover material from a project.  Filament sample swatches can be labeled with a 3 digit number (up to 1000 filaments, or 26^3 if letters are used) then placed in the rail and rotated 90 degrees to snap into place, and then slid along the rail. The printable pin can be pressed into the cardboard of filament storage box to coordinate with the swatch in a personal filament storage system. The swatch filled extrusion can then be labeled with the filament polymer type, making a simple and professional method of showing a variety of filaments in a very tactile manner. Whether for making a decision on color or style of filament for a personal project or consulting with a customer, this allows for a simple, portable, and handy tool with an industrial aesthetic for viewing filament swatches.  Or, just print the appropriate filament label (PLA, PETG, ABS provided) and blank swatches to demonstrate the range of filament colors available per polymer.The rail shown in the images is ~20 cm long, and could accommodate up to 20 swatches or more on each side for more than 80 filaments.  Ironically, I only have 1 color of filament I print with so please excuse the total absence of filament variety.  The entire set of initial hardware would take ~50 mins at 0.20 Quality settings in Prusa Slicer.  The pin is a ~3 min print and the swatch is an ~8 min print. Thus, the pin and/or swatch can be added to an initial filament model print without adding too much time.Rail end pieces are sized for a M5x8 bolt and secured using typical extrusion hardware.The pieces provided in the print file are blank for custom modification, but someone with the skill and ability could easily make this a parametric design. Larger, more enterprising entities could modify this to be compatible with custom printed QR labels as well. They could probably get the tolerances better, too.Thanks, enjoy.
