Extrusion Slot Rail - CAD files for your projects
thingiverse
These CAD files for DIY projects are specifically designed to be used with aluminum extrusions found in 3D printing. They come in two versions: Loose and Tight. I created them because I couldn't find any existing models that fit my needs, so I drew the designs myself. Sketching the rail took some time, as I had to fine-tune the details to ensure a perfect fit with my printer's capabilities. If you're planning to use these files, be sure to place them directly against the side of your box for a tight tolerance between the box and extrusion. You can download both Fusion 360 and STEP files from this location. I've also included test STLs that are 5mm long with a small tab in place of the box, allowing you to print and test them on your extrusion before finalizing the design. If you find these files helpful, consider giving them a like and sharing a photo of your completed project.
