Work in progress, I'm building an extruder for a geared motor Nema 17 - you can find it here: http://www.robotdigg.com/product/103 and the gear is available here: http://www.robotdigg.com/product/73. This setup includes a lock to ensure the spring doesn't let go if it's not strong enough. I'm using this design in my project oboXL3d, which you can see at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1233159
