Extruder to bowden tube connector for Tevo Tornado
thingiverse
I'm baffled by Tevo's decision to use a PUSH-FIT socket on the extruder! It's a terrible design choice!! After a few months of heavy use (constant removal and adjusting), I noticed that the metal push-fit coupler for my bowden tube had worn down the plastic socket on the extruder, causing it not to stay in properly. I'm still trying to figure out why Tevo Tornado designers didn't opt for a threaded socket instead of the weak push-fit one they came with - but this was my solution... This is a simple print (no supports needed) and requires just one M10 (14mm) nut. I found the perfect slim nut (3mm thick) with a 1mm thread pitch at my local hardware store for $0.30 or so. Simply slot it in the top, and gently knock it down to fit. Then the tube coupler can be screwed in easily.
