Pleased to share this innovative design. Spent considerable time perfecting it. Being confined within an enclosure, attempting to switch filament was a major challenge - No longer! Swings effortlessly 180 degrees. Provides immense stress relief! * Tried to optimize material/time usage by thinning the backing plate. * Incorporated markings for additional functionality. * Added support to enhance strength without adding substantial weight. * Included a vent port to eliminate excess heat generated from the extruder gear. * Designed top holes to be elongated, allowing some flexibility. You can adjust the motor without having to disassemble the extruder and relocate the bracket, then reassemble it - [What a relief!]. * Makes changing filament a seamless process!!! * Ignore the attached arm; that's another project, but you can see how components can be added to the Swinger like a filament guide. To assemble this design, you'll need: - M4 nuts/bolts for mounting to the frame - 1xM4 10mm bolt and nut (preferably a nylon lock nut) to connect The ExtruderSwinger pieces together. The nut may require pressing in. - M3 bolts for the extruder, which you should already have. :)
