Extruder Stand for Anet A8 Bowden Drive
thingiverse
This stand comes equipped with a built-in oiler for all metal hotends, allowing you to keep your setup well-lubricated at all times. To utilize this feature, simply place a sponge within the oil compartment and pour in vegetable oil - I find it works wonders for my particular setup. With metal hotends, it's essential to lubricate the filament to prevent it from sticking to the walls of the hotend throat and jamming instantly. Fortunately, the screw holes on this stand are perfectly aligned with those on the A8, eliminating the need for any additional hardware. Additionally, there is a zip tie groove available to provide extra support for your stepper motor if needed; however, I've found that it's not necessary in my case. The stand fits snugly around the extruder, providing a secure and stable base for your 3D printing operation.
