The Thing-O-Matic's extruder spacers replacement part ensures a secure attachment between the extruder and the platform. While assembling my printer, I initially used pipe cleaners to hold them together due to confusion, but was later helped by a Makerbot employee who showed me the correct part. I designed and printed an openSCAD solution, which has been functional for numerous prints. However, after its installation, I discovered the missing acrylic spacer.
