A plastic extrusion device employs a screw mechanism for conveying granules (small plastic fragments measuring 2.5-3 mm) from solid to molten states. The melted material is subsequently forced, e.g., through an orifice to produce items like filament. To facilitate the assembly process, one may also print a barrel housing the screw and potentially other extruder components.
