Don't keep relying on the factory extruder block for your Replicator 2; print several replacements to avoid shortages when needed! These fit the extruder like the original derlin piece. It's wise to have a few spares on hand. For printing, use medium quality settings with layer heights between .27 and .20, combined with 10% or 20% infill. I typically set the print temperature at 230-240 degrees Celsius. No support is required if printed correctly. High-quality prints may not yield the correct nose taper for me. To achieve optimal results and prevent popping off, print one plunger at a time on a plate, even though you can fit multiple plungers on a single plate. Simply insert the replacement in your block as you would with the factory plunger; it may be slightly tight on the grub screw, but you can easily twist it onto the threads if needed.
