Only do this mod if you are experienced in 3d printer modding. Its designed to work with my spool holder i have here on cults. To increase print quality i wanted to shorten the tubing and make fillament go lighter thru the tube. This helps for retraction to shorten the tubing. I ended up shorting my tubing with 80 mm but recomend that you start with 60-70 mm and try it out. Fasten motor.............. You will have to get 2 40 mm long m3 screws with a angled head that sinks in to the plastic when fastened. You have to remove 4 screws on the motor for this to work because the 40 mm screws go all trhu. See picture how i did it. Fasten mounting....... To attach the mount to printer you need at least 4 10-14 mm long m3 screws,4 m3 nuts and 4 m3 washers. i use original holes on the printer. If you dont want the trouble of unwire the entanglement on original motor cable to make it longer you need a long motor cable. I ended up with attaching the cable to the z endstop cable to keep it out of print area.
