Slide-type Extruder mounting Plate with adjustable height / KODAMA TRINUS I recently made the 【Extruder mounting Plate with adjustable height】, but it was too weak and deformed as soon as I started using it, so I strengthened each part to create this version. If you replace the original Extruder mounting Plate with this one, you can set the hotend's height adjustment once and make fine adjustments easily. (Assuming that the heatbed's horizontal adjustment is complete) To adjust the hotend's height, simply move the hotend from the home position to the middle of the heatbed, place a sheet of paper in between, and adjust the height using the top nut until it feels just right, then tighten the side nuts. You will need: * A printed slide-type extruder mounting plate * 1 M3 screw of 25-30mm or longer * Use this screw to adjust the extruder's height on the top nut. * 1 M3 screw of 8-10mm * Use this screw to fix the extruder to the heatbed. 【 Hotend and Heatbed Clearance Adjustment Steps 】 1. First, make sure the heatbed is level. 2. Remove the original extruder mounting plate and replace it with the slide-type extruder mounting plate. Use the same screws (4) as before, but don't tighten them too much - just enough to keep the plate from moving smoothly. 3. Tighten the two adjustment nuts on the mounting plate only a little bit. 4. Attach the extruder to the top of the mounting plate using the original screws (2). Make sure it's not too loose or too tight - just right for the extruder to slide smoothly. 5. Move the extruder from the home position to the middle of the heatbed. 6. Place a sheet of paper on the heatbed and loosen the top nut on the mounting plate. Adjust the extruder until the hotend's nozzle is lightly touching the paper. 7. Adjust the height using the top nut until it feels just right - not too loose or too tight. 8. Tighten the side nuts to fix the extruder in place. Finally, print a 100x100x0.1mm first layer calibration test to make sure everything is working correctly.
