This is a Mount for a Phoenix 3D Extruder. Designed specifically for use with an Inductive Probe Sensor, it offers enhanced functionality and precision. We're eager to hear your input, suggestions, and ideas for further improvement! Plan Ahead: This interim solution paves the way for a more ambitious project - designing an entire Extruder Assembly with the Z-Probe Built-In. Once our printer is running smoothly and firmware is fully optimized, we'll dedicate all resources towards creating a new Single and Dual Extruder assembly featuring a built-in Z-Probe mount. Instructions The following instructions apply to the Original Probe Mount. A new set of instructions will be provided once the revised design is finalized. Print as Desired (Supports or no supports) Recommended infill level: at least 40% for optimal results. You may use less, but 40% is the minimum recommended for durability and structural integrity. Before Soldering, insert wiring through the designated opening and wrap connectors securely onto the RAMBo board. Next, position the Probe on its mount before securing it to the Extruder using the provided screws (no tightening required at this stage). Finally, attach the Probe Mount to the left or right front side of the Extruder motor, utilizing the same screw without the washer. Ensure a distance of about 1mm between the sensor and bed in relation to the extruder nozzle for accurate measurements.
