Tesla Performance 20" Wheels. I crafted a detachable rear piece that indexes an 8mm magnet, enabling precision and accuracy. Initially, I used two stacked 8mm x 3mm magnets to achieve the desired depth from the extruder, but this proved unnecessary as I later discovered. To ensure seamless rotation, you can simply glue a magnet directly onto the primary wheel, provided it's centered for optimal concentric alignment. This approach streamlines the process and eliminates potential issues. Although I didn't intricately detail the spoke faces due to their small size in the visualizer, I did incorporate a center TESLA badge. However, the FDM printing process rendered it somewhat indistinct. In a nod to the Pilot sport 4S tires' tread style, I designed my replica with a thinner profile to avoid overwhelming the extruder's capabilities. If you prefer a more authentic, thicker representation of these tires, feel free to request modifications or simply extend the STL files yourself. As this is my inaugural model share, I welcome any feedback, suggestions, or requests for improvements – please don't hesitate to let me know your thoughts!
