Extruder Motor Mount for Sunhokey i3 (Prusa clone)
thingiverse
I cobbled this together as a makeshift solution to keep my extruder motor stable on the X axis - a major improvement over its previous precarious perch in a vice atop my messy 3D printer enclosure *facepalm*. Please just ignore the furniture blanket, my basement is currently a disaster zone. Installation: Loosen the screws above and below the bearing on the right x carriage. Then remove the top and bottom screws from the farthest acrylic panel on the right side. At this point, you should be able to unscrew the tensioner thumb screw and take out the acrylic panel. Next, slide in the bracket. Align the acrylic panel and reattach it, making sure to tighten the top screw first. Once it's secure, slide the bracket into its final resting place above the screw and re-tighten all the remaining screws.
