This is a direct compact extruder, specifically designed for the CoreXY Frame v.1.0 available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1811983. The extruder features a push button to make changing filament a breeze. It comes equipped with an MK8 feed gear and utilizes a Step.motor Nema17 that boasts 45Ncm of torque or approximately 64oz.in of force. The bearing used in this design is a high-quality ball bearing known as the V625ZZ. The shaft itself measures ø5 x 28mm. For added durability, four M3 brass inserts (ø5x8mm) are included. An MK8 hobbed pulley serves as the feed gear and works seamlessly with the extruder. The E3D Hotend V6 short-distance is used, specifically designed for 1.75mm filament. To keep the filament in place, two springs from Ikea's PRESSA series (ø7.5 x 8.1-15mm) are included. A 17mm PTFE tube with a diameter of 2x4mm serves as an insert to guide the filament through the extruder.
