Extruder Hotend Coupling - Wrench (Watch Scalling Informations)
thingiverse
I have some issues with my Ender, the fittings are junk. I've already replaced the one from the extruder side, after the PTFE tubing moved about 0.5 - 1 cm during retracting back and forth. After half a spool, movement starts again. After finding a solution for the hotend issue at "Filament Friday" / "Elproducts", I was thrilled that today the counterpart for the extruder was set. Because the original STL and other remixes all had faulty threads. The one from "bert_lz" was clean and worked great. During testing of the original parts, I encountered problems with the inner nut turning when tightening or loosening the outer nut. The supplied wrenches didn't fit, so I threw the original nuts in Tinkercad and created matching wrenches. Here are my scaling information: File: Wrench_inner_nut.stl: • Scale to 101% (Snug fit for the Extruder) • Scale to 102% (Snug fit for the Hotend, Extruder with little play) File: Wrench_outer_nut.stl: • Scale to 101% (Snug fit for both) Ender 3, CR-10 HotEnd Coupling PTFE Fix by Elproducts https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3348742 CR-10 Extruder Coupling by bert_lz https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3360380
