Extruder Holder
thingiverse
This mount enables you to attach your extruder to any surface. It pulls the filament from above and transports it down to the bowden tube beneath. I designed this for use on an IKEA Lack table. Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: You can print with or without rafts, whichever suits your needs. Supports: No supports are needed for this mount. Resolution: Print at 0.2mm resolution for optimal quality. Infill: Use 40% infill to achieve a good balance between weight and print time. Post-Printing Secure the cables Place the cables into the mount, then secure them with some tape. Enlarge the hole If necessary, widen the hole slightly so the extruder can be easily removed from the mount without colliding with the cables going through the hole. Drill a hole through the table My hole is approximately 45mm in diameter. To-Do List Filament Guide A small slot will be used to guide the filament as it passes through. This helps prevent the filament from getting stuck when inserting it into the mount.
