One of the standout features on MKS TFT screens is the capability to pause once you've exhausted your filament supply. This was a design I implemented using one of the three end stop switches I replaced when I installed my optical switches. It functions flawlessly. The design also incorporates a fan mount and includes hook points for suspending it between the carriages or hanging it from a counterbalance. I simply revised and added a version without a fan since many users don't employ one. I also shifted the counterbalance hanging point to the rear for improved balance of the extruder's weight. The one feature on the original design that I preferred the most proved ineffective, so I reworked it to function better for retaining the switch. This design requires no screws. UPGRADED DESIGN I have revised the switch retention device to make it more robust and added a funnel for easier filament starting. This is a significantly improved design. Notably, the design also features zip tie points along its rear edge to help manage the umbilical cable.
