Extruder filament path guide/restrictor for flsun kossel mini
thingiverse
Flexible filament navigates its own route, typically the path requiring minimal resistance, which often translates to a deviation from direct descent towards the hotend. This phenomenon is particularly prevalent in the extruder with the Flsun Kossel Mini. To rectify this situation, a solution has been designed that literally seals off the aperture and provides a restricted pathway devoid of any means of egress!! This fix has undergone hand tweaks to ensure compatibility with my extruder prototype; please let me know if you find this solution useful and whether it fits your specific requirements. I only ever created this as a rough draft, so results may vary... Added were a couple of variations: extrudergear.stl and extruderwashergear.stl. One variant can be secured in place using two M4 screws from the extruder, while both feature 12.4mm x 6mm recesses for users employing their hobbed gear in reverse orientation. Additionally, these modified designs have been rotated to eliminate the need for rotation before slicing. However, it's essential to note that neither of these variations has been printed or tested by me...
