Extruder fan mount for 2020 printers

The extruders on my Geeetech A10M were reaching scorching temperatures (~52C), so I created a solution to help cool them down (to ~35C with the Noctua fans). This setup will also work on A20M, A30M, and A10T printers as well (if you mount your extruders on top instead of at the back). It should be compatible with any printer featuring top-mounted extruders. What you'll need to get started:

A 40mm fan. I highly recommend using the Noctua ones.

4 x M3*16 bolts (or larger if you're using a thicker fan).

2 x M3*8 bolts.

4 x M3 nuts.

2 x M3 T-slot nuts.

(Optional) A 40x40mm aluminium heatsink for enhanced cooling performance.

If you have any ideas, feedback, or concerns, please don't hesitate to leave a comment.
