05.02.2017 - WARNING: I no longer recommend this cooler!\n06.04.2019 - All print files have been removed. Instead, use the duct available at: \nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2121279\nI've printed numerous coolers for my Anet A8 printer and encountered several issues. Some were too bulky, others too heavy, while some didn't fit due to being either too low or too high. Additionally, the air flow was not drawn into the ideal area on the object in most cases. The majority of designs I tested were ones I created myself.\nAfter careful consideration, I found that the cooler I designed for download here best suits my needs. It shares similarities with this popular design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1620630\nHowever, it didn't meet all my requirements. The main reason for designing my own was to accommodate a different filament extruder height. As a result, I created 6 coolers for various heights - 25.5mm, 24.5mm, 23.5mm, 22.5mm, 21.5mm, and 20.5mm. Measure the height from the fan to the nozzle's bottom, then subtract at least 1mm to select the corresponding cooler.\nThis design also features an opening for heater cable clearance.\nImportant:\nThe heater block is not centered on the ring as intended. It's crucial that the nozzle remains in the center of the ring for even air distribution.\nIt's recommended to print this cooler with ABS or PETG, which are more heat-resistant. However, I've printed mine with PLA without issues. When using high-temperature filaments, simply remove the cooler. Typically, you don't print with the fan on during these jobs.\nPlease notify me if any problems arise so I can improve the design accordingly.\nAdditionally, please post a picture with comments if you've made one.\nThanks.\nLeo\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: Anet A8\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nResolution: 0.2\nInfill: 100%\nNotes: The 3D print was created using PLA at 35mm/s, with a 0.8mm shell thickness and 0.8mm top/bottom closure thickness.
