In my second attempt to enhance Lulzbot's Z-axis space, I applied Josef Prusa's i2 Z motor mount combined with an extra clearance vertex kit. The foot vertex angle was changed to 63 degrees, while the top vertex was adjusted to 54 degrees. Top horizontal rod spacing increased to 100 mm, and original rod spacing holes are available. The extruder can elevate between rods for maximum Z travel, depending on X carriage and end configuration. My Lulzbot features a lifted X carriage, which lowers X ends on Z axis rods, providing extra Z-axis travel.
