Extruder Calibration Test Rectangle
thingiverse
I created a tool to optimize the extruder multiplier calibration process. I based it on the method shown in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-7uX6Dw-7A This technique greatly improved my prints by automatically finding the ideal extruder multiplier and filament temperature settings for each type of filament used. Before attempting to calibrate the extruder, I recommend following these steps: Firstly, ensure that your stepper drivers are set to the correct voltage for the specific motor being driven. A good resource is this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89BHS9hfSUk Next, properly calibrate your extruder using this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUPfBJz3I6Y Print Settings: Printer: Folgertech 2020 Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: None Notes: To achieve the best results from this test print, carefully follow the instructions in the video. You will need to utilize the Tweak at Z plugin within Cura.
