Another version where the plate's PTFE receiver extends FULLY into the space where the filament exits the rollers. I got the clearance about the minimum possible to barely not make contact with the gearing. To install the new short piece of PTFE tube, snip a short piece of PTFE tube squarely off after inserting it and measuring to add about a 1/4" of length hanging out to trim to the angles desired (cut it WITH a scrap of filament inside it to minimize crushing the PTFE tube during the cutting process, afterward you can round it out a bit with a gentle squeeze the opposite way after removing the filament you inserted for the cut). Now insert it on the gear side fully, make sure the filament scrap is again back in place here also, then use the angles to make a matching cut in the PTFE, one on either side, holding your flush cutter flat to the printed angle for a close trim. I cut mine from the side and not the top down. CHEP on YouTube installed one of these in his 2022 TPU update with a new Cura 5.0 profile. I simply extended it further towards the gears so that there is plastic support above and below the short PTFE entry tube that is being added with this base plate. I'm now happily printing TPU with Chuck's profile on my Ender 2 Pro. You may have to trim your filament for easy insertion when loading it. Most people have figured out that when you trim your filament for loading, there's an ANGLE you should cut it at that will work with the natural curvature of your filament and let it easily enter the far side after the gears. This is no different, but you'll likely find that a chisel point (cutting both top and bottom at an angle to make a flat horizontal "chisel" point) will most easily let the filament enter what is now the PTFE tube that receives it from the gearing but find what way works best for your setup.
