I modified this extruder to enable the use of a groove mount bowden adapter instead of the nut and threaded pneumatic coupling, which is paired with a smaller gear. Additionally, I removed the sensor component from the lever. In my setup, the groove mount adapter fits very snugly, but you may need to apply heat to facilitate its insertion. It is secured in place by two M3 screws, which hold it firmly. Apart from that, all original screws and the original bearing can be reused thanks to eckeSolutions' thoughtful design. Please note that this remix is a preliminary version; it works fine for me, but I do not intend to refine it further. The gear I use has a diameter of 7 mm at the filament level. I adjusted E144 for the stepper to account for the smaller diameter.
