Extruder 22mm lower spacer
thingiverse
I have an E3D hotend V6 mounted on my K8200 using a custom mount found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:349095. While rebuilding the printer with central Z-axis upgrades, I noticed that my nozzle was still about 20mm away from the bed when it reached its lowest point as limited by the side flanges. To resolve this issue, I decided to either raise the bed or lower the extruder, and a simple spacer coupled with two 30mm screws seemed like an effective solution. The original hotend is longer than the E3D, so I designed a spacer block that would fit between the extruder and arm profile, effectively lowering the head by 22mm.
