It's not easy to create nice upper layers when the linear guide on the X axis has a lot of play. However, with this additional lead screw in front of the extruder holding everything perfectly straight upwards, it's a completely different story. I've installed an MGN9H guide with 450mm length. The original side covers were equipped with M4 threads and everything was secured and aligned. Be careful not to apply too much pressure from above, or the nozzle will move when moving from left to right on the X axis! At the top of the extruder, the carriage is only held in place by a rubber piece.
