Spin the MendelMax Spool Holder as required by using both horizontal and vertical mounting methods. I recommend using Spool_Holder_ArtLabKY_vertderivitive2_rep.stl, which features a rear winged support. Thomas Sanladerer's Spool Holder_vert was the first version to be modified, followed by further modifications done in SketchUp. If you can't find T-nuts nearby, consider using WhosaWhatsis t-nuts from my sources. To assemble the MendelMax Spool Holder, print the part as shown in the photo and oriented in the STL file. You will need 2 M8x25 bolts, 2 M8 nuts, 4 M8 washers, 2 608Z bearings, and 2 M5 T nuts with 2 M5x8 bolts. Place one M8 washer on each side of a 608 bearing and slide it into the slot as shown in the photo. Attach an M8 bolt through the large hole at either end and fasten with an M8 nut. Repeat for the other bearing. Insert the M5 bolts from the front, then add the M5 T nuts to the back, keeping them loose. Finally, slide the T nuts into the channel of the beam and tighten in place.
