Extremely Sawed Off Shotgun

This is a model of a double barrel shotgun inspired by the movie "Killing Them Softly". It's surprising how many people are unaware of it. In the film, two amateur crooks steal from an illicit poker game. One of them uses this highly modified shotgun with an extremely shortened length. Check out the scene here: https://youtu.be/iahvEQHA6Do I decided to model a double barrel shotgun that was a little more distinctive. This project taught me a lot about UVing and how to do it more efficiently, which significantly improved my texturing skills. I also learned a great deal about Substance Painter, and hopefully this project showcases those new skills. The model was created in Maya, where I handled the modeling and UV mapping, while the texturing took place in Substance Painter.
