Extreme overhang test 50*6mm 85-70degrees
thingiverse
Please share photos of your prints! I'd love to see them! The 50x6mm overhang test is a great way to demonstrate warping on long distances (OHWT - OverHang Warp Test). My tests were conducted using my Airodactylus V2 duct, as the V3 model hasn't been released yet. I'll upload the Cura profile used later, but for now, focus on layer height and walls count - you can't take turns in mid-air. I've created two versions: one with pads for enhanced bed adhesion and another without. Here are the settings from the reference pictures above: * Filament: Sunlu PLA+ Silver * Layer height: 0.16 * Initial temperature: 220/70 * Temperature: 215/65 * Walls: 6 * Speed: 54/27 * Fan: 100% at layer 3 I didn't print the 70-degree angle, as it's too easy for my setup.
