The Giebert et Compagnie company package for its product 'EXTRACTUM CARNIS LIEBIG', made in Fray Bentos, Uruguay, according to the formula developed by Justus Von Liebig and Max von Pettenkoffer. Ca. 1864. Fernando Foglino designed the model from photographs of the original package taken by John Giebert, with graphic assistance from Daniel Villar, for Dr. Lucía Lewowicz's book, commissioned to Zona Editorial by Uruguay's National Meat Institute (INAC), 'LEMCO.
