extractor fan
thingiverse
I created this 155 mm fan to test its printability, and I'm pleased to report that it can be printed successfully. The parts are made of PETG with full support structures due to their high strength requirements. An optional filter housing allows for filtering the incoming or outgoing air. The engine used is a 12V motor with a diameter of 60 cm and a height of 110 cm, featuring an axle with an 8 mm diameter and a length of 30 cm. The motor attachment is positioned 32 mm apart from corner to corner. To balance the fan, simply use the spindle in place and add or remove material on the blades as needed. This design idea arose from my desire for a stronger fan that could also filter air and test its printability. ---Update: May 1st, 2019--- I've uploaded a new design for the static pressure fan, which is lighter and easier to print. I hope you like it!
