Prevent fumes being extracted into the room from your 3D printer by fitting a cheap 80mm HEPA activated carbon filter using this bracket. This will stick to any metal surface and cover any extraction/input fans, so I'm sure there are loads of other use-cases for it.You can buy spare filters for the Adventurer 4 pretty cheaply. https://www.box.co.uk/FFA4HAF-Flashforge-Adventurer-4-3D-Printer-Hepa-_4090304.html The Flashforge Adventurer 4 HEPA filter has 2 layers and measures 80mm x 80mm. One layer is an H13 filter, the second layer consists of an active carbon filter. The active carbon purifies unpleasant odours and all kinds of waste.I use a Flashforge Adventurer 3 at work and it has a 40mm extractor fan on it that's mounted into a metal panel. You can buy an official Flashforge product that fits it with magnets, which is designed for the education version of the Adventurer, but in the UK it's incredibly expensive to buy. This is much, much cheaper and actually better because it's surface area is four times larger, it will provide better airflow. This bracket is designed for 10mm neodymium magnets as that's what we already have. You can use any thickness magnet in there. I'm using 2mm magnets and they work fine - although 3mm would provide even more sticking power. I put super-glue inside the holes, placed it on a metal surface and dropped the magnets into the holes. The magnets pulled themselves towards the metal while the glue dried. The Adventurer 3 fan has nuts sticking out into the case and the cardboard on the filter presses into it and won't seal properly. I found that if you use wire snips to chop off a part of the carboard about half an inch an inch long and about half an inch away from the edge it fits great as the soft carbon sponge just gets pushed around it - you can see that in one of my photos.I've also created several versions which are designed to have you pause the print 1.5mm from the top of the model and place the magnets inside it. You don't need glue in this case. These are the ones that are called things like "_3mm_internal" - this means there is a 3mm tall hole inside the model that you can place a 10mm diameter magnet into when you pause the print, which then will be covered up. The ones that don't have internal in the file name just have a hole going all the way down into the model so the magnet isn't covered up.It's very easy to print with no supports needed. I recommend setting the line width to 0.6mm so the edges will be 3 layers wide and a layer height of 0.2mm.
