UPDATE 3 Sept 2016: Added 2 different propellers. This is one of a series of static models that I made with my new Anet A8 3D printer. Info: Wingspan: 183mm Length: 167mm These are the steps to build your airplane: Install the wings into the fuselage by forcing them into the corresponding hole (probably you have to sand a little bit along the inner airfoil) Install the horizontal stabilizers Glue the forepart and the spinner w/ propeller to the fuselage Glue the landing gear Done! Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1-0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: PLA Hot end: 195°C Heat bed: 60°C Advice: "Propeller_2.stl" file needs support to be printed correctly, for the best result I recommend 0.1mm resolution Post-Printing Here's how I designed this model: The design process started with creating a simple airplane shape using computer software. Next, I added details such as wings and horizontal stabilizers, making sure they were proportionate to the rest of the model. The propellers were designed separately and then attached to the spinner. Once satisfied with the design, I exported it as an STL file and began the printing process on my Anet A8 3D printer.
