Hey! This is a compact key fob designed for Renault Megane 4, Talisman, Kadjar, and Espace 5 key cards. I recently purchased a Talisman but found the key to be excessively large - even bigger than my phone. Furthermore, it lacked a hole for attaching it to my key chain. It's as if Renault deliberately wanted me to dislike them. Check out the stark contrast with a standard Renault car that has similar features [Image-0.jpg]. I decided to slim down the key as much as possible without using soldering techniques. Follow these simple steps: 1. Remove the back cover to reveal the white inner casing. [Image-1.jpg] 2. Take off the black battery lid and remove the battery. 3. Carefully pry off the white plastic casing to expose the PCB underneath. [Image-2.jpg] 4. Remove the PCB, then take out the metal frame from the buttons by pressing on them. [Image-3.jpg] 5. Click the PCB back onto the part with the buttons. Insert the battery and put on the compact XS mini case. [Image-4.jpg] 6. Enjoy your new slim key!
