Extra shelves hack for IKEA LACK bookshelf
thingiverse
I needed some extra shelf-space without adding any new holes to my walls. To solve this problem, I came up with a creative solution. This DIY shelving unit uses two sturdy shelves made from 19mm thick material. Each section is carefully designed and assembled using a specific combination of components. The system includes four distinct parts: 1. Two centerpiece elements that provide the primary support for the entire structure. 2. A right piece, which is used on both sides to maintain symmetry and balance. 3. Another right piece with a functional hook attached, adding an extra feature for hanging items. 4. Left pieces, similar in design but used to complement the right-side counterparts. If you're not interested in using the hooks, you can simply print out an additional copy of either the right or left piece, and they will fit perfectly into place.
