Trees, as defined in botany, are perennial plants with elongated stems or trunks supporting branches and leaves in most species. In some usages, a tree may refer specifically to woody plants with secondary growth, lumber-worthy plants, or those surpassing a certain height. Trees, which are not a taxonomic group but a diverse collection of plant species that have independently evolved woody trunks and branches for sunlight competition, tend to be long-lived, with some reaching thousands of years old. In more lenient definitions, taller palms, tree ferns, bananas, and bamboos are also considered trees. Trees have existed for 370 million years, and there are over 3 trillion mature trees worldwide. This set includes five extra low-poly tree models, each with a transparent texture; all have been crafted in Blender v2.77 and exported in .fbx, .obj, and .3ds formats, with a total of 52 triangles and an average of 26 polygons per model.
