Extra Large Soap Dish

A large soap dish that can hold two bars of soap, a compromise born from my wife's preference for one soap and another. I've finally created something useful in 123D, a printed solution to our kitchen and bathroom needs. While it may not be perfect, this dish served its purpose, and maybe I'll print another. The dish measures approximately 155mm wide, 93mm deep, and 30mm high. To ensure stability, I made the walls of the tray thick enough to withstand shrinkage, even when holding just one bar of soap. This may seem sacrilegious, but it's a practical solution. I printed this soap dish in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm and a wall thickness of 1.2mm, using 20% infill for added stability. Without supports, the flat areas printed well, although I might consider adding them around the base if I were to print another one. The arches underneath the long sections provide sufficient support. I won't be modifying this design further; it's been uploaded as a possible solution for those in need of a large soap dish or looking to modify it for their own purposes.
