Extra 300 Airplane merged to one part
thingiverse
I combined all parts of the Extra 300 design by rhinodk into one single object (excluding the propeller) using Blender, allowing it to be printed with support without requiring any glueing of the wings - a task that proved extremely challenging for me due to my limited experience with the software. My slicer insists on printing some skin where the parts were merged, and I'm not sure how to resolve this issue, possibly someone else can offer assistance. The original creator has stated that they lost the hard drive containing the original files, so this 3D model is likely the best available representation of this aircraft at present. To ensure optimal results, be sure to print with the nose facing downwards and experiment with different slicing orientations, gradually adjusting them until you achieve the desired level of support.
