I use an older desktop PC in a workshop that has a lot of sawdust. I made this bracket to mount an air filter outside the chassis over the intake grille. it is screwed to the removable side panel with standard UTS 6-32 computer crews. the cover plate is mounted to the bracket parts with M3-0.5 screws. The top cover is easily removed with 2 screws as the bottom edge tucks under the upper edge of the bottom cover. the Filter is a 6"×10.2"×1" automotive cabin air filter - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07C2P4KFZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&th=1 I placed a strip of 3/4"×1/4" poly foam gasket around the inner perimeter for a snug fit.
