A turbocharger's wastegate control manages boost pressure by diverting turbine inlet gas flow as per preset actuator spring load. The actuator section features sensing ports on either side of the diaphragm, ensuring accurate valve movement. Both pneumatic and electronic external variable boost control devices can be implemented. Note that the last three photos depict real-time wastegate functioning without any model involved.
