External Fan shroud for PC case(designed for Node 202)
thingiverse
I needed a custom fan shroud for my Fractal design Node 202 case, which has a 140mm window. Since I had to add another fan but there was no space left inside the case, I decided to mount it on the outside and use a 4-pin jumper/dupont cable to connect both the fan and the motherboard through the gaps of the case. To cover the 120mm fan and the rest of the 140mm window space, I created this cover with a groove for cable management. Additionally, I added four holes at the bottom for magnets that are 8mm in diameter and 1mm high. There's also some extra space on top for placing a 120mm fan filter. Print this design with the honeycomb side facing down on your build plate. The measurements are quite tight, so it's best to scale them up a bit if your printer tends to print things smaller than they are supposed to be. If you're planning to use this shroud with a Noctua fan, make sure to remove the rubber corners from the cover side. This design was created in Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/emxPutxYom4.
