This LCD display holder is designed for use with an HD44780-based 20 x 4 screen connected to Arduino or Raspberry Pi boards. The creator employed a Sparkfun Serial Enabled LCD Backpack Adapter, allowing for cable entrance and adjustable contrast settings. The LCD rests on pins and is secured with hot glue. Optional back and stand components are also held in place with hot glue. A .stl file is provided for customization, and the box was printed using a Makerbot 2 with SkeinForge slicer software at 20% infill, 2 shells, and .2 height. Printing took approximately 3 hours for the box, an hour for the stand, and 30 minutes for the back. Assembly instructions include slicing, printing, gluing, snapping shut, and connecting components.
