Exterior Walls for Code & Go(tm) Robot Mouse Activity Set
thingiverse
My 5-year-old son splurged on a Code & Go(tm) Robot Mouse Activity Set by Learning Resources with his birthday cash. He's absolutely enthralled (and I'm thrilled that he's grasping coding concepts), but the movements aren't spot-on and the motion tolerance compounds with each maneuver. The Activity Set comes equipped with walls for interfaces between floor tiles, yet there are no barriers for the exterior edges of the tiles. The mouse occasionally slips off the edge of the floor tiles and, since he sets it up on a table, it's come perilously close to toppling over several times. I concocted these straightforward, exterior walls to prevent the mouse from tumbling, reduce the tolerance stacking, and guide the programmable mouse to the cheese. The walls have tabs on one side and slots on the other, allowing them to snap onto any side of the floor tiles.
