Extention for Wham Bam Hotbox Foot
thingiverse
I did not make the foot file included with my upload. That was made by psdesign and posted to Thingiverse. I made the 50mm extension block. I bought the Wham Bam Hotbox Mega for my Ender 3 Max. I was pretty sure it would be too short because I have a dual Z upgrade with a handwheel on the second Z screw. I printed the feet before the hotbox arrived. After blocking the enclosed up with some books I determined I need to raise it 45mm at least.I have not printed anything yet. I am concerned that the air gap will allow too much heat to escape. If it does I'll figure out a curtain or cardboard extension to close off the airgap. The final design was printed upright without supports or rafts. I took psdesign's advice and used 2"x2" rubber feet on Amazon for a nonslip bottom. With the pad, the block is about 55mm tall.
