This extension mount helps get your Ring Wired Doorbell Pro (Video Doorbell Pro 2) into the right position when your door frame is further back than the adjacent siding. By bringing the doorbell flush with the siding, you'll get a much better camera angle.This design also incorporates a drainage channel to help in case any moisture or condensation gets in. The wire area is sloped back to the frame and down to the right side where the drainage hole is.I've got two versions here, but message me if you need something else. I can easily narrow the left and right bases and accommodate a caulking strip.Printing instructionsChoose the mount that works best for you.Choose a material appropriate for your application.Print the .stl file as-oriented.A brim might help.Installation instructionsUsing #6 or #8 screws, secure the extension bracket to the mounting surface, carefully feeding the wires through.Connect the doorbell following the manufacturer's instructions and carefully align it with the bracket.Secure the doorbell to the bracket using the 5/8" short mounting screws that came with it, following the manufacturer's instructions.NotesI designed this model in OpenSCAD and it's fully parameterized.
