Extension Grip for EOS RP with BlackRapid FastenR attachments
thingiverse
I love the BlackRapid R-Strap system and own the hand strap, shoulder strap and backpack strap. Still, it always bothers me that I can't put my camera firmly on a table with the fastener screw attached.A few days ago, I found the great design of schindi77, who really deserves credit for this, and made a few minor adjustments: I scaled the model a little on the z-axis to make it high enough and enlarged the screw hole to fit the fastenR. Now my EOS RP sits firmly on the table, if I don't have a heavy lens attached like in the picture. But that is a different problem for a different day.Additionally, I like that I can now easily grip the camera with my hole hand and all fingers find hold on the grip.I used a BambuLab X1 Carbon, 15% infill and the Bambu PLA-CF filament because I like the texture. Furthermore I use a fine setting (0.12 instead of 0.2) to avoid obvious layer lines, but honestly, this part is not too complicated and you should use whatever floats your boat. I just like how it blends with the camera.
