This accessory elevates the blade holder that accompanies the Chef's Inspirations Premium V-Blade Mandoline Slicer. The slicer includes six blades, yet the initial holder only accommodates five blades. Consequently, one always stores one blade within the slicer. Furthermore, the grater blade is slightly taller than the other blades and does not fit into the holder at all. This extension adds a sixth level to the holder that is tall enough to accommodate the grater blade, enabling all blades to be stored comfortably in the holder. The extension is deliberately designed for a relatively loose fit since the holders themselves are occasionally warped and dimensions vary slightly between individual units.
